Edward Rasen served with the U.S Army in Vietnam from July 1965 to February 1968. Rasen was a combat infantryman and Long Range Recon team leader who was awarded Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB), Bronze Star for valor, and Purple Heart for combat wounds. Subsequently, he worked in Vietnam and Cambodia as a producer for ABC News.
