Kim Gottwald

Kim Gottwald (born July 25, 2003, in North Rhine-Westphalia) is a German ultramarathon runner and content creator. He rose to prominence during the 2024 UEFA European Championship, running over 450 km between the host cities of Germany's matches — a project that went viral and was documented on film. In 2025, he founded the Last Soul Ultra, a backyard ultra in the last man standing format with 93 athletes, which was released as a six-part documentary series on YouTube and Joyn. At the 2025 G1M Ultra in Texas, he shared the win with Kendall Picado Fallas after the race was called at lap 57 due to a severe thunderstorm. His return to the 2026 G1M Ultra, alongside his rappid athletes Aleksander Piotr Lingauer and others, was captured in the documentary *Changes*.
