Hyde is a Guatemalan filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist whose work explores memory, childhood, folklore, and the emotional power of fantasy and science-fiction. They have written and directed four independent short films. Their film Quiero Hacer Una Película was selected for the Official Selection of the Cine Incidental Festival (Guatemala, 2024). La Última Lágrima received an Honorable Mention at the Aguacatón de Oro Festival (Guatemala, 2025), and Nausea won the Cine-Minuto de Terror Award at the Xibalbá Festival de Cine de Terror Latinoamericano (Guatemala, 2025).
